Legal Advocacy
Training & Advocacy
Oasis Legal Services engages in Movement Lawyering, a practice that centers and uplifts the experiences of LGBTQ+ immigrants who have fled violence and persecution based on their sexuality, gender identity or expression, and/or HIV status.

Movement Lawyering is a non-traditional legal approach in which lawyers follow the lead of directly impacted communities and use legal tools for systemic change, focusing on building collective power.
