Oasis provides free and low-cost immigration legal services for LGBTQ+ immigrants. We support people who are seeking safety in the U.S. through asylum and other immigration pathways like green cards, family petitions, and citizenship. We are not able to represent people living outside the United States.

Our Services

We provide the following services for LGBTQ+ immigrants:

Consultations

We can determine your eligibility for immigration relief, including asylum, residency, citizenship, or family petitions.

Asylum

Asylum is an option for those fleeing violence or persecution due to their sexuality, gender, and / or HIV status.

Residency / Green Cards

Immigrants can apply for lawful permanent residency through asylum or family petitions.

Citizenship / Naturalization

We guide green card holders through every step of applying for U.S. citizenship and civic participation.

Family Petitions

We can assist residents and asylees in petitioning for eligible family members to gain permanent residency.

Social Services Navigation

Existing clients receive support with housing, employment, education, HIV care, and other services.
